The Yellowstone Backcountry in Autumn
Yellowstone National Park is one of our favorite spots on the planet to fish. It is an angler's paradise for all seasons. We've hit the PMD hatch on the Firehole during a spring snowstorm, chucked salmonflies and hoppers throughout the Black Canyon on Midsummer's Eve, and hiked to the second meadow on Slough Creek late in the year. While any month in the park can be memorable, we're partial to the Brown Trout spawn in early autumn. Check out the photo journal for the complete story...
